1.lock in place wheels

2.opens from front like a slide out drawer

3.lockable

I have the image of what it would look like in my mind; it needs to be really sturdy and strong, but not too heavy. Please sugest some types of wood and what I will need to build it.

Please help me. I'm not really worried about size right now cause I can worry about that later when buying wood.

Could you put the steps like....

1.

2.

3.

Thanks so much!!!

  1. 1.  Build a basic box with one side out.  I'd use a furniture grade plywood since you'll want to stain or paint it and that's a viewable surface.  You can buy wheels that you s***w on to the bottom that have locking features on them.

    2. For the drawer use furniture grade plywood for the front, you can use a lesser grade for the rest of the drawer part.  If you can do a dovetail join that'd be best for stability/keeping things together.  If you can't do that then metal L brackets to keep the sides in place and sliding well would be better.  To ensure that the wood won't swell so you can't get it open or shut, try putting in some track for it to ride on.

    3. As for locks, try putting a basic padlock assembly so that a bicycle or fancier type lock just slides through the--I can't think of the name, but it's what you typically see on like treasure chests.
