How could I decorate my big white EMPTY wall?

I have a big white wall with nothing on it in my bedroom. I was thinking of buying a painting to put on it, but I'd also really like to make something myself. I keep thinking about some sort of diorama thing... but what are your suggestions? (Anything at all!)

Why not use removable wall decals - you can purchase them in a variety of themes and colours and they can really make a statement in any room.  

The other option would be to create a collage using a very large photo frame, remove the back and stick pictures to it in different sizes, shapes and angles.  Replace the back and you have a great piece of art that shows all your favourite photos and pictures.

bring in some natural art. like arranged branches or dried palm leaves or dried bamboo.

you can make your own pictures.  just simply paint some frames in matching colors and put whatever pics you want.  or glue some shells on top of the frames.  you can do the same with a mirror - glue your favorite things onto the frame - stones, buttons, shells, bows, etc.  here are some ideas and projects:

I suggest you take a picture of it and put it on the HGTV rate my space website! (I have used the for my whole house) They are so creative. Another person can see what you cannot! Good luck! :)

before you hang the art, paint a large rectangle of color to surround the art, then hang. it will make the art look bigger and possibly more interesting too. ....it will take up space on the plain wall and that's what you want
