I work at a historical hotel that is nearly 100 years old. I have felt the presence of ghosts. Tonight a guest told me that she saw a young (20's) ghost walking up and down the hall, dressed in clothing from the 1920's or 30's. She said she felt that this girl had been killed at the hotel. Her story matched with other stories that have been told to me and I would love to see if there is an actual case that would explain this phantom figure. Where would I look for records like that?

  1. Go to a library in the archives section any murders or anything that happened should be there.

  2. the local library or newspaper office. look for newspapers/town records from that time period (watch out cuz it'll take awhile)

    that would be most accurate.

  3. Maybe the Police station would have old records.

  4. Your best source is the newspaper morgue (yes, its called that) which contains past issues of the local paper.   You can also check actual mortuary records (county coroners) and police records with proper authorization.

  5. Newspaper records. If she was killed it's there. Also you can write to the Gost hunters show. They will come and check it out. That show is great for ghost hunter type folks.

Find a local historian of your town. Check the yellow pages.

And or find a PHYSIC. LOL
