How could I gain 2 pounds in just one day?

I usually weigh myself every Saturday morning. When I did yesterday, I was 92.4. I kind of ate a lot yesterday, so I weighed myself again this morning to see that the scale said 94.0 lbs! There's no way I could've eaten an extra 7000 cals in just one day...what happened? How do I know which is more accurate?

  2. The answer is water weight.

    When you eat, your muscles will store some of the food as glycogen and glycogen exerts an osmotic pressure. If I'm not mistaken, for every gram of glycogen in your muscles, 4 grams of water enter it due to said osmotic pressure. Thus, when your scale weight moves, say, 1kg, remember that not all of it is true weight. A lot of it is water.

  3. u shouldn't weight yourself everyday or every week. a lot of factors can through off your weight!
