How could I get involved in a magazine?

I love magazines so much and now I want to write in a ma but how so please give me some advice!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If any of you know some1 who writes in a mag please tell me cuz I want to be a magazine writer!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!... I definately agree with what the rest of them said about going to school to practice writting. That's definately a good thing to do. But you should also make sure you get an internship for hands on experience. I also advise you to write to your favorite magazines (I'm guessing that is where you'd want to work the most). Ask them any questions you have, comment on the articles you've read from their magazines, and maybe even send in some of your pieces.

Sorry, I don't know any magazine writers personally but I'm giving you the same info given to me the other day at a book signing I went to.

Write of and ask if you can do some experience with them.

you have to work your way up. contact publishers of newpapers and magazines. to be a writer you have to be really skilled and imaginative- you can't just walk off the street and be one. you need qualifications etc.

Go to university and take a writing course or journalism course. Or you could write articles for magazines and send them in. It depends on what sort of writing you are into. I would imagine that it would be quite hard to get an article published unless you have the talent and the experience.

Do you do much writing? Perhaps you should practice by writing about something you are passionate about.

but I think you have to have a certain degree or a certain study level to achieve it.

If you can't write, which you can't and can't get your own contacts just settle for reading kids mags./  Take some much needed English classes for a start.
