  1. it is prescribed and its not something you would take with out the doctor knowing and yes it could kill you if you take enough or get hooked on it. side affects can be death and that is something you ought to thinks about its not good for you unless you are ill.

  2. You can set up an appointment at a psychiatrist and tell them you're depressed, you have occasional anxiety attacks, blah blah blah. Then tell them your 'friend' used to be in the same boat as you and recommended Prozac. It'll work, but I don't suggest it just because people just don't need unprescribed drugs for no reason. But I hope I helped :]

  3. Prozac and related drugs are prescription only. Taking one would probably do nothing, these drugs must be taken for several weeks before their effects kick in. Which means every day, for 3-4 weeks. Common side effects include mild weight gain and sexual dysfunction - the two that people always complain about. There are other, mild uncomfortable ones like nervousness, sweating, tremors and so on, but those vary significantly from person to person.

I would also like to make it very, -very- clear that you cannot  ever take these drugs without medical supervision. Someone with mental illness of any sort should never be medicating themselves.

  4. if you really feel you need it, talk to your doctor.  They will ask you a few questions and generally have no problem prescribing it for you.   If you just take one, it really won't do anything.  That sort of medication has to build up in your system.

  5. Yes it is a prescribed medication and it is an anti-depressant. If you are depressed go see your doctor and explain to him/her what's going on. Never take prescription medication intended for someone else.

  6. Yes, it's prescribed. You either need a prescription or go on the internet. Here's some info...

  7. Yes it is definately a prescribed medication. If you took one that wasn't prescribed to you you might not like what happens to you. This medication is for the who are depressed, it's not something to play around with!!

  8. You're not too bright are you. Why go see a doctor when you can experiment on yourself? The worst thing that could happen is you will go mental and kill yourself. DOnt you watch Dr House?
