It is an icon but I love the color combinations. How do you think I could get the effect with everyday makeup? Link is below

  1. As everyone has said, MAC is the best stuff in terms of getting the colors. BUT, if MAC is too expensive, using color eyeshadows and a wet eyeshadow sponge or brush works too! It will take a little practice, but you can get a much more intense color out of any eyeshadow by adding a little moisture.

It looks like the eye is lined with dark liner right at the lashline, and there looks like there's quite a bit of mascara on the eyelashes (I would get an old mascara brush and wash it out, you'll use this as a lash comb to build the mascara up without clumping).

I always start with the lightest colors first and then build to a darker look and as someone already said (and you prob already know this, but just in case) this is a very heavy/intense look that is not for every day wear, it needs to be for a club or a place where there is not much light, or you will look whorish :S

I would start with a really matte (no shine/metallic stuff in it) nude color first to even out your eyelid color, you can use pressed powder for this too.

Then I would apply the eyeshadow as you see them on the picture and then liner on top and mascara is, of course, last (I always do it last because when you put eyeshadow on, the powder can dust over the lashes and make them seem lighter than they are).

Do not put dark shadows on the inner corner of your eye, that will make it look like you have bruises, save that for just above the crease where the eyelid bends and the outer edge of the lit and browbone.

Make sure you don't put dark shadow (instead light!) right under the brow. If you have to, blend with fingers, the oil in them sometimes lets you blend better than brushes and sponges!

When you're done wearing the eye make up MAKE SURE to take it off really well, don't don't don't fall asleep in it or you will get nasty eye styes.

  2. Well first of all u r going 2 need 3 different colors of shadow. which ever colors u desire. make sure u have a pretty dark one 4 ur eyelid. then go lighter each color. The u just blend colors together and WALLA!, beautifull eyes.

  3. mac paintss. =] and youtube videos on how to do makeup. lol.

  4. VERY highly pigmented cream eyeshadows. try MAC paints or go to sephora.com and look at the Make Up For Ever flash pots.

    hope this helps!!

  5. well, it looks pretty dark for everyday makeup, but idk, maybe that's your thing.

the first thing you need is a primer to make the color stand out and stay on, like Urban Decay Primer Potion, which works great. then i think you'd want to get deep blue shadow like on the lid, a brightish purple like in the crease, and maybe some black to give the outer corners more definition... but im not sure about that, it could just look that way in the picture. plus you should put a little shadow on your lower lashline.

you'd need to do a lot of blending and be able to get the shape right, so you might wanna look at some youtube makeup tutorials for some more tips :]

and if you want to make it more of a daytime look, you could try using a rich, lightish purple (like the crease in the icon) on your lid, a deeper purple in the outer corner or crease, and then some deep blue liner. that would have the same colors but used in a much lighter way.

  7. UDPP:urban decay primer potion must need.

    colors:dark purple,silver,gold,black,dark blue,.

    too lazy to tell you.

  8. put on black or transparent mascara, and eyeliner on both top and bottom of your eyes. then for the eyeshadow, it's basically a metallic shade of blue and purple. but blue on top and purple on the lower part and black on the corner. just use your fingers (ring finger) to blend it. just use metallic shades to attain that. it's easy.

  9. i wouldn't do this for an every day look i would use it for a night out. That look is  not made for every day ! P.S i'm only 12
