Online website is not stable and fast to do such a thing. Here I would like to recommend you use a tool. It works excellent.

absolutely! just open the video you wanna download URL. Copy the URL and then go on keepvid.com , paste the link in the blank and press download, there will be a link for you. after finish downloading you should make sure that the file is either *.flv (for low quality) or *.mp4 ( for high quality).

or you can siple let the video play all, the movie actually will be stored in your temporary files folder. find a *.flv file and that is it!

about edit video, i do not have any website but i am suggesting yu use Ulead Studio..:)

this will help you... use 'zillatube'

it is the easiest  (and also the  fastest) way.

Zillatube easily download videos from Youtube... to your computer, and more (e.g. it will help you convert them,  or  just watch them easily anytime you want)... or even edit the mpg file in movie maker.
