How could I start a career in modeling?

I'm 15 and would really like to model, but I don't where to get started. When I was little I was offered a job but I turned it down, and since then I have always wanted to model. How do I get started?

After you get an agent, you'll need to make a professional portfolio of great shots.

i would start by researching modeling agencies on the internet. Make some phone calls and they'll probably ask you to send in some pictures of youself.

When you get old enough, relocate to an area like NYC

Then, get ready for rejections until someone recognizes you or, you, well fail and go back home

you can ask your mom to get you an agency. if shes someone who knows how to use a computer, then she'll try. Most agencies are expensive though.

if your trying to get into local modeling like for dillards or jcpenny, then i have no clue.

if your trying to get into professional modeling, then you could try agencies or companies who go from state to state such as iPop.

I got into ipop, but it required me to miss 1 semester of school and a whole lot of money for las vegas.

It's good to like the way you look, but why don't you pursue a career that's more challenging and actually benefits the rest of  society.  Quite frankly i don't think we need any more models in this world.
