Best method for determining the gender of your snake would be to have an experienced keeper/breeder probe it for you. If the snake is still quite young or you have an experienced handler it can be "popped" which is much less invasive and preferred by most.

Many reptile-centric pet shops offer sexing as a service. Call around and find out if your local shops can help you out.

You can purchase your own probe kit for $20-$30, but I would advise you to have someone experienced show you how to use them before attempting it yourself.

quiet tempest is correct. about 15 years ago i had a local breeder i met show me how to do it on a few different species of snake (all hatchlings), and ive been doing it myself since on everything from retics to hog noseds
