How could a homeschooler get financial aid and scholarship offers without transcripts and referrals?

  1. You probably still have transcripts but they are from your parents as mandated by your state.  You would also need to prove your abilities by taking the SAT and/or other tests.  There has to be some way that your progress is tracked by the state to -grade level testing, etc.

    References don't have to come from academic ones.  Try a long-term volunteer position for a few hours per week.  It'll show responsibility and give your the opportunity to practice being on your own for a little while.

  3. Talk to your school counselor and/or academic advisor about your situation, but you are more than likely going to get financial aid.
