  1. I'm afraid you cannot pull a pop up camper behind a boat that has a boat that has a lower unit attached.  First, how are you going to have any clearance to safely mount a hitch without potentially damaging the boat's motor and/or lower unit?

The thing is, you have to mount the boat to the camper first, not the other way around.  Unfortunately a pop up camper probably does not have the structure strength or weight to safely pull a boat near 2000 pounds or more.

Typically Full sized regular 1/2 ton truck weighs around 4500 pounds gross.  Now hook that up to something that only weighs near 1000 pounds (pop up camper) with a small rear frame, now try to hook it up to something that's 1500 to 2000 pounds.  You will be putting a lot of stress on your camper to pull a weight it is not designed for.

I recommend that you either find a seperate towing vehicle to carry your boat or opt for a small RV that eliminates the issue of needing a vehicle to tow the camper.

  2. carefully

  3. well do you enjoy more the camper or the boat  rough it and buy a tent then  you can enjoy te day on the water then change off and leave the boat behind and take the camper

second option have someone else tow your boat to where you are going then you can have the luxory of both worlds

for me it's leave the camper and enjoy sleeping under the stars lol

  4. check out this link below, it has all the towing regs for each state.

  5. on land or on the water?

know it sounds like a dumb question to ask but one never knows on this forum what may truly be asked...

  6. Wouldn't the camper sink?

I know, but that's the first thought I had!

I don't think it is possible, or practical to do. You might could have a special trailer built that would hold both. Other options would be a smaller boat on top of camper or cartop or, current boat and tent(s). You could also buy a motorhome.

  7. Put a hitch on your boat trailer and get a doubles trailer endorsement on your drivers licence from you Dept of Motor Vehicles.

  8. You can't do it in this state. I live in Ma.
