How could i set up a wireless Internet network for laptop in India? where do I approach?

u hav to buy a WI-FI router for that , without that it wont be possible to hav a wireless network ......  i am also using the same

You can only set up Wi-Fi if you have broadband. If u do have broadband then you will have to buy yourself a wireless router, once you buy router you just follow the instructions, it is really simple to set up. You will also need to have Wi-Fi card in your laptop, all new laptop has internal card with it but if you have little older laptop then it should have slot for external wi-fi card (if your laptop is really old then it might not have slot) and you will have to buy a external card. Make sure you secure your network, if you don't secure it and if your next door neighbor has computer with wi-fi then they can also connect to internet through your network. I don't know which brand of routers are available in India but if LINKSYS is available there then I would highly recommend to buy that (No, I don't have stock of LINKSYS). I bought NETGEAR first and it was terrible and then I bought LINKSYS and I am very happy with it.
