How could i win a boxing match against a fat guy?

Iv got a boxing match coming up next week against a fat guy.i had a fight with a guy who was jus a lil bit less fat than him and took him down but then when i took him once he just doesnt go down.tht was about 5 months ago.iv been training harder now,he doesnt know how to box , he doesnt use a stance or a gaurd he just throws punches around.were abouts should i aim on this fat guys body to beat him?his stomach doesnt work because thats what i tried last time.

  1. Can you grab his balls ?


  2. Work the body.  Then later on in the fight he'll drop his hands.  You should be able to out condition him.

  3. fat = slow/ out of shape. Just be quick on your feet. run circles around him. but don't get hit, cuz he has all that weight behind him. Hit him in the face....a lot. Try to get his nose from the side...break it. Make the tip of his nose touch his cheek....if that's even possible. haha.

    if that doesnt work then give him a coupla low blows .

  9. Aim at the throat or face. Also deliver quick blows to these two areas. Go in for a quick hard blow to the face/ throat then pull back quickly.

  12. it's not a nice answer but it's not a nice sport either. Just keep going after the head. If he's big he most likely is slower than you so just tire him out and keep tagging that head. ( rib shots come in handy too)

  14. Fat fighters are supposed to have more fat to protect his nerves and bones from being hit right on spot, so he may not feel the pains as much as thinner fighters. You have to try to jab him and wear him down.

    Fat fighters maynot necessarily be very slow, but for sure their punchese are more powerful, especially if he has bigger bones.  If he is taller than you thus his arms are longer than you, you have to either stay away from his arm reaching length to reduce his punching efficiency, or you stay inside to work on the upper cuts.

    If he is same height as you, basically, you just need to dodge his punches and work on the jabs and once awhile throw power punches.  Usually, punching his body is not the desirable way because you would lose a lot of energy by throwing power punches but the effectiveness on him maybe low.

    However, you need to find out at the very beginnig what kind of fighter he is, very aggressive or defensive fighter, then you fight differently. If he is fat and aggressive, generally speaking, he has the chin and thus give him the gut to fight in the aggressive style. Then you should not force yourself to fight as aggressive as him and carry out the action fight, instead, you should try to dodge his punches as a way to wear him down and thus to reduce his aggressivness along with the reduction of his energy level.

    You have to test the water during the first round to see what kind of fighter he is, then, adjust your strategy accordingly.  

  15. make him throw punches and counter. keep making him think he's going to hit you and he will swing hard and try knock u out, but it will only tire him out. you don't have to counter every punch it's more important that you make him swing and know where he's gonna swing based on the way you stand and let you gaurd down on the left or right. good luck. I've been street fighting for about 8 years and i've only lost about 6 or 7 fights.

    you should aim for his sides, and asfter its taken a toll on him start hitting him in the face because his sides will hurt so bad that he will actually prefer head shots or be more afraid of body shots to head shots, if that makes since

  16. ok try mixing combinations to the body and and face, but hit him mostly his lower chest and upper stomach. he will get tired no matter if he fat. and mostly hit him in the liver which will have a hurting, and pick your shots.Where him down round by round then in the late rounds go for the kill to combos to the face. it depends on how many round you got, if u have 10 rounds then go with that. but if it's 3-4 rounds then just win by points , good luck

  19. depends if its a long fight just out last him. if you have longer arms just jab him until he gets tired dont tie up with the guy becasue hes bigger. just train hard and "dance around" him wicht means jab and move

  21. If you are fighting a fat guy, the best thing, assuming you are quicker than him, is for you to not get in close where he can hurt you. Use quick movement and combinations. It's always harder to knock someone down who weighs significantly more than you do, so if winning the fight is based on scoring points and not knocking someone out, move quickly and hit him in flashes with flurries of jabs and hooks when you have the opportunity. Kind of like when Muhammad Ali fought George Foreman. If you tire him out by moving around, you might be able to knock him out. Also, don't try and hit him square in the stomach, hit him in the kidneys where it really hurts

    and over time yes body shots will take 'em down especially liver shots or kidney shots
