My daughter is a vegan since born. She is already 5 y/o now. She never had any sickness so far (by God’s grace). Alas she had chickenpox last week, but cured within 3 days (The rash, blister & fever disappeared). My family physician confirmed again that was really chicken pox, but surprising to know that it would usually last more than a week. How could it be possible? Was it really chickenpox? Did anyone ever had such experience before? Any worst experience?

  1. It was chicken pox.  It lasts as long as your body takes to defeat it.  Could be 3 days or 3 months.  I had it for 7 days when i was 7 years old.

I'm old now and just got my shingles vaccine.

  2. Yes, it was chicken pox.  Your daughter is a strong girl and she fought it off quickly.
