How could some people be misogynists if they were brought into this world?

I hear that all the time. How can some people, especially men, resent women if they were the ones who brung them into this despicable world?

Can women be the causes of men (and some women) for them to be misogynists?

How often do women face gender discrimination just because they're a female?

  1. Ow, an education! Really? Men brought women on to this planet?

I had no idea men could give birth!! Thanks for letting me know dear! You are so smart!

  2. Uh, blaming those who are hated for the hatred of the hateful freaks who hate them is absurd.

Just as it is NOT the fault of g**s or people of color that the sub-human, brain-dead scum hate them, it is NOT the fault of women that the sub-human, brain-dead scum that hate women hate us.

Those who hate women are responsible for their own insanity. Blaming the people they irrationally hate is disingenuous -- to say the least.

Look at this site, and then tell me how often women are told they're all worthless, incompetant morons who are capable of nothing exceptin giving birth and mopping floors.

Why is it MY fault that there are so many men who refuse to accept the humanity of half the human race?

  3. I don't really understand misogynists, to be perfectly honest. I shudder to think what experiences, or lack of them, have made them so blind and hateful.

Of course some women can cause misogyny. There are bad women just like there are bad men.

In my opinion, a lot of misogynistic males became that way because of sexual frustration, rejection by women, or unhealthy relationships. Upbringing also plays a huge role.

I haven't entered the work force yet, but in my short life I haven't felt oppressed because of my gender. Of course a few guys have made a**h*** comments that have really bothered me, but I would never let that affect my self-esteem negatively or get in the way of my goals.

Edit: Sorry, have to respond here to Mr. Mike here:

"Just because its EASIER for men to contribute.. that doesn't make our contribution any less important."

Anyone will tell you that biologically, both sperm and egg are NECESSARY for creation. However, for the next 9 months, it is 100% the mother and her decisions which determine the course of the child's life. i.e. Fetal alcohol syndrome, smoking, diet choices, obstetrician/medical care etc. Not to mention self-induced abortion. The woman's body goes through an incredible ordeal in the creation of a baby, and to say both male and female play equal roles is quite simply preposterous.

  4. The same way women can be misandrist even after their father helped create them as well:  stupidity.

  5. Your father also brought you into the world.

EVERYONE.. even women... have fathers too. Without that sperm.. NO ONE IS BRINGING ANYONE INTO THE WORLD.

Women act like reproduction is ALL women. Just because its EASIER for men to contribute.. that doesn't make our contribution any less important.

EDIT: Its the women who give birth, but the MEN who impregnate them. We can go back and forth on this all day. The chicken or the egg?

  6. I think misogynist men were created mostly by their mothers. Either through their mother's actions or inaction. I was born in Peru and I go there regularly to vacation. It's a somewhat sexist country where the woman does all the housework (even if she works too) and the man goes out and drink the entire night. It's common for men to do this and in some worse cases they beat their wives. Ironically, the men's mothers condone this and see this as normal. They defend their sons and they raised their sons to be that way. It's a cultural thing. As boys they learn that it was okay for women to be treated as inferior to men because their mother allows it. After all mother is god in a child eyes. Everything she allows and practices it, is okay. Here in the U.S. is better than most countries but we cannot forget that in the Middle East women are being killed for adultery or for simply not being virgins. In Saudia Arabia, is illegal for a woman to drive or go anywhere without a male relative. Not to mention the female infaticide (s*x-selective abortion) of millions of unborn girls in India and China. We have a long way to go before all women of all creeds and races can truly be equal to men.

  7. they couldve been abused by their mother..

  8. People hate whatever people and things have caused them pain when they were little children. People who had a narcissistic, bit.chy mother will become misogynists. It does not matter who brought them into this world. After all no prisoner adores the cops who brought him to the prison.
