  1. write the equation as:

    y-4=3t^2

    take the ln of both sides:

    ln (y-4) = ln[3t^2]=

    ln3+lnt^2=

    ln3+2lnt

    if you plot ln (y-4) vs. ln (t), the slope of the line will be 2
