  1. u can set this ball under hand or try to go right under the ball right above your nose make tighten your fingers and try 2 hold ball in your fingers just for a microsecond practice it i know it will b benifical or u can set it by using hand as i told u earlier

  2. if you drop low and get your forehead underneath the ball it will get your body into postition to get your hands there.

honestly when a ball has spin and your supposed to set it really just get underneath it and you will atleast get the ball up

  3. you should bump set it. because if you set it with your hands you have a greater chance of being called for a 2 hit.!

  4. Just set it :)

In a new practical word... "Practice".

The classic way would allow you to "suck it in" before pushing it out. I am not sure how strictly your refs would call it a lifting, but practice and get soft hands so that the "suck-in effect" would be invisible, like most pro setters would do.

If you play beach volleyball, the rule would require you to have no spin out of your set, no matter how much spin you get from a pass.

  5. in my years of setting if the pass truly is like "unsetable" and if you have good court presence, and u know the teams weak spots dumping into the other teams is a good option too. if u can place it well. but if there is a slight chance u can set a hitter up then definitly take that chance, but be sure ur not called for a lift.

  6. u could set it by having your hands at the front of the ball so that when you release the ball it is spinning backwards

  7. uhm, use STRONG hands to push it out to your hitter.

  8. Practice setting those types of passes it is hard, but possiable. When you set you have more control over the ball than when you pass-set. you would have a better chance of correctly positioning the ball if you set.

  9. for now pass it and then you can work on it because if you try to do it without practice you will break a finger.
