  1. Alcohol always works for me.....a few shots of Vodka and my fears are gone!

  2. To begin with don't fight your fears.  Understand them, where do they come from?  Decide if your fears are real or have you made them larger than they are.  Then face your fear.  Most of the time if you actually see a fear for what it is you can control your reaction.  Fear can be a healthy reaction to a stress situation, but it can also be a mind killer.  The other part of your question is more difficult.  You must know who your are to be able to stand up for yourself.  You must be able to differentiate between needing to stand up and when back off.  Once you come in touch with yourself you may find that the need to stand up for yourself is not necessary.  Pick you battles don't battle with everything.

  3. The answer is inherantly culturally dependant.

  4. We have to band together. In my opinion it's the only way.

  5. fighting and overcoming fears is what makes us what we are

it empowers us to do good things

    dont think about it

when theres a challenge go for it

think of people who do that every day like fire fighters and people on the frontline

its very brave and very honorable

  6. Fears are fears for a reason. You're afraid of them. There really is no way to avoid them. I'm afraid of being wrong, not understanding something, and insects. It's an odd list, and I've tried to overcome the fears but I can't. But, standing up for who you are isn't too hard, unless you have a fear that prevents you from doing so.

  7. There are lots of fear.. fear of not being accepted, fear of being alone, fear of rejection... but fear  is emotional and psychological.  So to overcome fear one must be emotionally mature and psychologically stable.  It's a matter of telling yourself that no matter, you could handle it, that you could manage it... then by doing so, you are fighting your fear.
