The gun I hold is a tribute to all my oppressed brothers and sisters driven by force, bombed,and humiliated by tyranny. The sun that dawns a new era stands for a new rise in dignity for all those who never surrender to the oppression

We who have lives to lead in our own way may in the past not have been disturbed by what happened at the time we should have resisted it altogether, yet when parts of us were cut into pieces by the enemy we forgot, we forgot the mere fact that all those affected people were a part of us and we were a part of them. All of them had for at least once stood for us, and its time we stand for them too

Let this message not be one of hate, but be just another candle in the midst of new light of hope

The mere faith that God is with us is a reason for this symbol of resistance in the face of unspeakable horrors
