No one in their right mind would want to go on a tour to a place being ravaged by war, unless of course, if they're member of the media.

let our local media sensationalize the war... once the international media picks-up the news, i'm sure they will send their people in the war zone. with that, we can assure already of the influx of foreigners coming in to the philippines.

There are more than ten regions in The Philippines. Not all regions are in conflict. And not all areas within a region are "at war." Promote the diversity of the islands which The Philippines is justifiably proud of to the world.

We can invite the US army to play war games in the hot spots. That would eliminate the terrorists and the US servicemen would spend dollars at our nightspots for recreation after they pulverize the MILF.

to promote tourism you pick the places that are the least dangerous and offer great deals. If you are asking why would we, it's because tourism brings in a hefty amount of money, that funds countries and keeps them afloat.
