How could you do this to someone?

My husbands ex girlfriend whom he has 3 kids with has just confessed what we already knew 2 one of our friends. Their youngest daughter isn't my husbands. I mean for Gods sake the child has strawberry blonde hair and blue eyes and my husband and his ex have dark brown hair and dark brown eyes. She told our friend she doesn't plan on telling my husband it isn't his. Don't you think he has a right to know from the mother of his 2 kids? That poor girl will never know who her real dad is because she doesn't even remember his last name! What do you think about this? Has anyone been through something similar?

If i were you im pretty certain I would be telling hubby the truth.

He will be more hurt if he finds out the truth later AND that you knew about it.

Some people have no sense of right or wrong.  His ex sounds incredibly selfish, to the where she is willing to hurt others for her own benefit.  Now that you have been made aware of this, you can't possibly just let it slide.  You and your husband need to sit her down and talk to her away from the kids, because she may act ignorant!  And tell her you want a paternity test, and then as adults please, Please sit down and figure out how to protect the innocence children or child involved.  They did not ask come her and deserve that their BEST INTREST be want the adults keep in mind!   Find the Truth, confront the Truth and then handle the truth respectfully!  Good Luck..Protect the children!

Just shut your mouth.  He will find out from someone else.  If you get involved you will look like a jealous step mother.  He will find out.  He already has some bond with this child he will be hurt when he finds out.  Dont be the one to inflict this pain on him.  Pretend you didnt believe it when you hear it .

omg Just tell him.  He deserves to know either way

don't tell the girl though.  your husbans loves her like a daughter, so let them continue that relationship.  it will be good for her.  dont tell her until she's an adult or figures it out on her own.  you'll s***w her up otherwise
