How crowded is Six Flags Magic Mountain on the grand opening of a new roller coaster?

Some of my friends and I want to go there on the day the X2 roller coaster opens. We really don't care if we go on it. We would rather go one the other roller coasters, but if the line for X2 isn't terrible, we may make it our last ride of the day.

I'm guessing it is going to bring in a big crowd because the ride is JUST opening.

the other rides are most likely going to have longer lines than usual too, because so many people are going to be there for the grand opening of X2.

Remember that X2 is NOT a new Roller Coaster.  It is only an upgrade of X.  The main thing is that they changed the trains and added additional effects.  The basic coaster is the same track.

From what I remember, unless they improved the dispatch time, even if the Grand Opening brought in no additional people you are still looking at a multi-hour wait.
