i always go in the summer but i want to go in september this year. i'm planning on being there from september 1st to the tenth.

i don't think kids are in school until the fifth, so how crowded is it, and what is the weather like?

also, is there less shows during the less busy times of year? such as, less fire work shows, and less show times for things like the festival of the lion king, ect? or is it the same all year round?

one more thing! do the parks open and close the same time all year round? i understand there are extra magic hours, but is it the same all year?

  1. It should be fine except for Labor Day Weekend.  Just to let you know it's gonna be very muggy during that time.  The humidity is killer.  All the parks have different hours but the times are shorter during that time.

  2. The schools in Florida are in session in August. So after labor day you should have smaller crowds. Go to the park early and plan on a long lunch & a nap then go back to the rides. Early morning is less crowded. Check out the web site for hours of operation. If you stsy in the park have a picnic lunch to save money. Bring your ice chest. Enjoy, take your time & don;t try to do it all in one day. I also recommend Discovery Island in the main park, ask about tickets. Check about booking on line or through AAA.

Have a safe & wonderful trip!

  3. Labor Day is September first this year, so a lot of schools are starting back that week.  According to the Disney website one of the lowest attendance periods starts the week following Labor Day until just prior to Thanksgiving week.

The parks are open until anywhere from 8pm to 10pm the first days of September (except for the Animal Kindgdom whuich always closes earlier).  CHECK OUT: http://disneyworld.disney.go.com/wdw/cal...

The number of shows each day is about the same as in the summer - it's a little cooler (but not much).

their website has a lot of info - check it out : http://disneyworld.disney.go.com

    Have Fun!
