How d you get the 2008 drivers on dirt to daytona (gamecube)?

Unless you have some knowledge of modding game consoles, I am going to say there's no way to do it. I would just buy a more recent NASCAR game for Gamecube, they are probably pretty cheap now so you should be able to...even if you're on a budget.

I saw it at GameStop the other day when I bought "Arena Football." But the game is from 2002 so it's got some c**p graphics and is not modern. If all you have is a gameCube then do what I did before I got a PlayStation 2. Get the most modern game from GameCube, which happens to be "NASCAR 2005: Chase For The Cup."

That game was made in 2002 or 2003 so it's unlikely you can get the drivers from 2008

I bet the only way you could possibly do that is to get one for the PC and go from there.  I don't think it's possible to update rosters on a console system.
