  1. hopefully there will be no danger at all as people compete in  very organized events you cant just go in to the ring and fight , before having tests to check that you are not taking anything illegal and to check you are in a good condition.

    hope that helps :)

  2. there IS actually a 55% chance of getting a disease through fighting once a cut is opened. Pretty good odds if you ask me. (If you want to die)

  3. They're bloody.... How safe could they be? Great sport. A man's sport.

  4. Enough

  5. "Cagefighting is certainly ugly, you have to really enjoy violence to be a fan.

  6. they could get aids.

  7. They test the fighters often for those types of things and only allow the clean fighters to fight.

  8. haha. that is not what you should be worrying about. If they don't check blood before a situation like this then you should go tell them to. I'm sure they will be thrilled some one thought of that. you could make a lot of money. haha sry to come off nasty but it better supports my point i think

  9. Yes, fighters are tested before they fight, but they are not tested before they train.  You don't know where a training partner has been, so whenever there's blood, it needs to be addressed immediately.  Almost every gym and dojo will have a hazardous human pathogen kit, peroxide, and ammonia.

Tommy Morrison was forcibly retired from boxing because of a positive HIV test.

  10. yeah u can pass on things through open cuts, and even without any blood u can get things like ringworms, and **** , amatuer fighters have to have blood work done every 6 months i think and pros do it before every fight

  11. Professional fighters must undergo a complete physical and I've never been to a gym thats allowed someone to roll around on their mats with a fungal infection of any sort. Plus they keep the mats clean more often than you would think. They have sprays for just that purpose. As far as contracting a disease from contact to blood or saliva you only find that kind of c**p in amatuer, low budget, p**s poor establishments. The worst thing that could happen in martial arts or boxing is a crippling K.O., broken bones, severe head trauma, and as any fighter knows painful groin shots and those d**n eye pokes. So a bloodborn disease should rank at the bottom of your worry list. In my years of fighting experience I've never seen a fatality and I surely havent known anyone to get a disease from a 30 min. squabble on the mat.
