How dangerous can be a big mass in the uterus as detected by ultrasound? ?

Large heterogenous mass in posterior wall of uterus, 8.6x7.2x8.3 cm in size without any area of calcification or cystic change. Endometrial line is displaced by this mass.

  1. See a Doctor as soon as possible

Talk to your doctor for clarification.  But, this usually means you have a fibroid or myoma, which are benign over growths of uterine tissue.  They are not cancerous.  Because your endometrium is being displaced (pushed on) by this mass, you might be experiencing abnormal menstrual periods (usually heavy bleeding or frequent periods).  

    Ultrasound cannot see any signs of BV....
