How dangerous is it to put propane gas in airplane tires as a quick-fix until they can get some regular air?

Only in a life threatening emergency.

Nitrogen would be ,much better.

do you have an airplane? if you do, then you should be able to afford a compressor, i dont think its FCC aproved to do that. plus propane not  compressed enough to keep the tire inflated

Compared to the amount of jet fuel, I'd say it's probably not as dangerous as it sounds.

I would say you are not a pilot, otherwise you wouldn't be asking this. It is about on par with asking if you could use gasoline instead of anti-freeze in a car's cooling system. Not safe...not smart.
