How dangerous would it be for me to wakeboard in the gulf of maine this summer?

I've wakeboarded in the middle of a windy rain storm, huge choppy waves.  Like riding God made double ups.... You gotta do what you gotta do to get your fix...  Well that might just be me though.  Get out there and have fun.
