How dark of a tint starts to effect your driving?

Check with your motor vehicle office to see what is legal, AND  FOR WHAT WINDOWS is it allowed.

25 will start to effect your driving but it will depend on where you live.

It limits your vision at night a lot.

50 % tint (the lightest) doesnt make much difference.

35 % its a little darker, but really doesnt affect it much.

20% (is what you see on mini vans) its dark, and especially at night, makes it difficult to see..

5% Limo Tint, d**n near impossible to see ANYTHING espacially at night!

ALL of these affect your visability, but if your careful when you're driving, it should be ok..

I have 20% on my civic, looks good, but definatly hard to back up at night...

PS... Check the laws in your state or province... Where I live, its agaisnt the law to have the front windows tinted, so check first, they will fine you EVERYTIME they pull you over!

Any tint will affect your ability to see clearly, whether you notice it or not. The darker it is the less you will see.
