  1. According to Wikipedia, "the Thames has a depth of only 5 metres (16 ft) at most"

  2. Deep enough to drown in.

  3. It really does vary. In the upper reaches say from marlow upwards the main channel varies from about 6 foot to 25. Below bridge stanchions it is deeper and the closer you are to the sea, the deeper it gets. Of course there are minor channels where the water depth varies from 3 foot to 12 foot.

Remeber that the time of the year will alter this too. hope this helps.

  4. Its about a couple of inches deep.

I know this because it only goes half way up ducks and they are not that big.

  5. about what curious said about the water only going up halfway around the ducks. ummn...dude......their floating.

  6. It varies depending where you are, but this I know. It goes all the way to the bottom!

  7. i think its 16ft-20ft!!!

  8. I think it really varies as James K. said. I've been able to only go under with only in inch or two with water above my head when I was standing on the bottom. But there also has been times when I was in my boat when the depth meter said 31 (about 19 ft.) Just depends.

  9. You can't stand on your tippy toes.

  10. at its joining with the sea it comes over the top of your wellinton boots at its source it doesn't. I make that a tidal range of about fifteen inches.

  11. At its highest level, around 21 feet, this already triggers off flood alerts all around London, even more so on the underground
