How deep is the water in Venice Italy?

in the bath about 1 1/2 feet  in the toilet 6 inches same as any-other place

I don't remember exactly but I think is about 15-20 feet deep. It could be a lot more.

Its actually quite shallow most of the time - maybe 3-4 feet.   There are times the water level is very high, but that is still only about 2 m at the most.  Venice is built very low.

At other times, the water is too low for even the boats to go through.  This makes it very dangerous and difficult for the locals as the city really doens't have many roads.  The ambulance, for instance, is by boat.  

Also, the water is not clean and kinda brown.  Again, the purpose of the canals is not only for transportation.

eeeeew u dont swim in da water u ride a gondolla, that water is nasty, i put my finger in it and it stank for da rest of da day dont do it!
