  1. Diving wells for 3-meter boards [about 10 feet] are about 13 feet deep, so you'd want it to be at LEAST that deep and probably several feet more.  Plus, you'd definitely want to know what's below the surface!  My advice:  Don't do it!

  3. The minimum pool depth for competive platform diving (up to 10 meters / 33 feet) is 16 feet, so that should be sufficient for a dive from 15 feet. I'd be more concerned about diving out far enough to clear the cliff, though.
