How develop my writing skills

im a guy with a very casual approach to penning down thoughts and writing articles ..........so i just want to know how to develop the neccesary basic skills .......so that i can improve wriring style

my teacherhad told us to read the dictionary and learn atleast 15 new words and their meanings everyday

write as much as possible... and invite comments from the people who know more than you...

while writing say in ur mind//I MUST WRIGHT NEATELY//and show interest in drawing

read read read. the more you read, the more naturally and articulate voice will come for you. And don't be afraid to have several people read one of your samples for constructive criticism!

You need to read well written papers and books and try to emulate the style and flow they use.  Check this site out it has a bunch of papers that can serve as a guide when you have to write those big papers.
