War and conquest, then tolerance and assimilation of cultures that were conquered.  But his empire didn't last beyond his death.

Hey, I don't mean to be rude, but what the heck do you mean you can't find anything on the web??  Just look up "Alexander the Great" on Wikipedia!  Very simple.
