How did Alicia found out that Josh and Claire's kiss??

When they were in Lake Placid [this happens in the fifth book by the way, The Pretty Committee Strikes Back] and Alicia was in the boys bunk when Claire snuck out to apologize to Cam. And during their heart to heart they, of course, talked about the kiss that broke them up. And while Claire was leaving, she smelt Angel perfume [Alicia's signature scent] and that's how we readers knew Alicia was in the cabin.
