When I sign in to MY Yahoo, it keeps bringing up Beta and won't let me get any information that I had on the original MY Yahoo.

  1. Here is a link you can try.

    http://cm.my.yahoo.com/switch

If that doesn't work then try this.

You will have to keep switching to the Original My Yahoo! each time you close your account or your PC. Yahoo! seems to be making us use the Beta whether we want it or not. This is how I am able to get back to the Original My Yahoo!.

Blog/ Switch to original My Yahoo!/ Last update: Nov 3, 6:16 pm you click the Switch to original My Yahoo click the Switch Back. After you switch you need to click the "Cancel" and you will go back to the original. If you click the "See Your Page" you go back to the beta.

There is also a Switch Back To Original My Yahoo! at the bottom of the page.

  2. At the very top of the screen over to the right click:

    Switch to original My Yahoo!

  3. You, or someone else signed on as you, selected to upgrade to the new, beta of the My Yahoo home page.  I have not found a way to go back yet, even though I want to.  I don't like the way the new one is so resource intensive, it bogs down my pc and prompts windows to display an error message to end a script that is running.  I don't understand how anything that is beta can be permanent with no fall back option.

  4. highlight and copy this link (do NOT just click on it):

    http://cm.my.yahoo.com/switch

Then you'll need to close this browser, right click on the browser icon on your desktop, choose "properties", and then click on the 'delete cookies' option in the box that appears.

Once that is done, click on the "start" button on the bottom right of your screen, and choose "run". PASTE the link you copied above into the 'run' line (hold the control key and press the letter "v"). Click on "OK" and choose the old yahoo option in the page that opens up.

This should take care of your problem.
