How did Biggie Smalls know about the World Trade Center blowing up?

He died on March 9, 1997. In one rhyme (on the song Juicy), he said "time to get paid, blow up like the World Trade". If he died in 97, how'd he know about that?

i think the world trade center had been terrorised back in 1993 when they put bombs somewhere in the first floor thats the reason he rapped about it

Technically speaking the WTC was not blown up. The towers collapsed after each one had an airplane flown into it with a full load of fuel. Are you suggesting another cause for the structural failure?

in 1994 there was a bombing at the wtc i think so he might be refering to that

Maybe he meant blow up like get big as far as business? I really don't know lol.

They tried to blow the WTC before.  In fact I knew they would try it again.  I'm sure alot of ppl knew they would it again.

Who knows.  Maybe thats why the feds killed biggie.  They thought he might blow up the WTC.  Its all a conspiracy.

In 1993 there was a failed attempt to destroy the World Trade Center by someone with a truck full of explosives, in the parking garage. The truck bomb went off, but because of the cars, concrete and steel all around, plus poor placement of the bomb, the damage to the building only made a large hole in the parking garage. Chances are he was referencing this attack, not foreshadowing 9/11/2001.

I remember this clearly because I was in college at the time and in one of the comics in the school newspaper had its main character (a manic depressed guy)  with a bandolier of explosives around his chest, saying that he was going to blow up the World Trade Center if he didn't get attention from someone, or something. The cartoon showed up in the paper the morning of the bombing, but that was coincidence (after the FBI paid a visit to the school).
