Probably from the Alzheimer's which eventually shuts a body down I believe.  I could be wrong....

Charleton Heston was a great Actor, an Icon. He was married to Lydia his college sweethart for 62 years, and she was at his side when he made his transition. The cause of death was not announced, by the family spoksman. The full life he led, his success as an Actor, his success as a Family man and his leadership in other areas was emphacised. May he rest in in Peace, Pray for his Family.

Go to ask.com and look up Charlton Heston death.  I found lots of articles but so far nothing mentioned how he died.  I don't have time to read them all.  I printed off a bunch to read later on.

I cannot believe all the rude comments made about him. What are these people, crazy?  He was a very talented person.  They only see the gun issue and don't give him credit for anything else.  How infantile they are and probably a bit jealous.  I wonder what momentous things they have contributed to the world?



Regarding the gun issue - the right to bear arms - isn't that one of our freedoms?  If guns were banned, people would use knives or something else to kill with.  Should we ban forks maybe or how about the internet where you can learn how to build bombs and where to buy anthrax and things like that?

They should try reading these articles about him. They may learn something other than he suppported the gun issue.

What do you mean no whatever answers, yo.  Chuckie was losing it when he went NRA, since what is his Planet of the Apes about, except the kind of unregulated militias Chuck ran with, when he was alive?  He fulfilled his space cadet character, which must have been written, right under his desk, by any sneaky writer, with a sense of humor and foresight, for our times, today.

As you probably know, Charlton Heston was battling Alzheimer's disease which is a disease of the brain that causes dementia.  Also, where the brain is stricken with a disease it starts shutting down and part of that shutting down causes the bodily functions to start dying as well.  Mr. Heston died of what is commonly referred to as "old age".
