Question:

How did Christopher Columbus find the Cocoa bean?

I'm not 110% sure he did but my friend needs the answer.

  1. Interesting question, and it turns out that the culture of the cocoa bean has a long and interesting history. For the part about Columbus (who didn't "discover" the cocoa bean any more than he "discovered" the Americas):

    1502 - Columbus encountered a great Mayan trading canoe in Guanaja carrying cocoa beans as cargo.

  3. Well he explored south America. When you look around the jungle you see plants. It's called the Columbian exchange.
