How did Criss Angel perform his dismemberment on himself?

I understand that he is an illusionist but how could he pull this one off? Even with his audience being fake, how could he be cut into 2 pieces by a 4 ft. saw? The saw barely grazes his midsection from what I saw but he completely breaks into 2 pieces.......I know it's fake....just can't figure out how he may have pulled it off.

I was wondering the same thing! I thought that maybe his lower half was a wax figure. IDK

That is the point of illusionists. You are not supposed to figure how they pull something off.
