  1. magic :)

  2. its an illusion dont worry about it

  3. He said "I think I can, I think I can!" over and over again.

  4. I've been around the world of great illusions for years so I'm always analyzing the methodology of effects -- I know how he walked across the pool at the Aladin hotel in vegas [ that one was pulled of utilizing clear plex glass structures to blend in with the pool water plus, like always paid actors to swim -- by the way -- that one was filmed during cold weather in the winter ( SO WAS LAKE MEAD)

The walk across Lake Mead was not a complete walk from shore to shore -- it was only about 50-70 feet out into the water that didn't exceed waist level -- the video shots of his feet stepping on/into the water were shot in a studio and then spliced into the lake mead feed -- when it shows his feet being filmed stepping on the water from below the surface, the camera man is actually no where near his feet after the footage -- he's streading about 6ft away.  I have a  strong method I believe accomplished this TRICK!! -- METHOD: 1st things 1st - this is made for television not a live REAL everyday lake setting - all the people nancing about the lake are set up by the Criss Angel production managment at the Luxor hotel prior to the filming, including the helicopter pilot, jet skis, and the family on the boat that happened to see this man on the water--ALL OF THIS IS PART OF THE act/PRODUCTION! - I stongly believe that he had some sort of suctions on the bottom of his shoes that suctioned the clear platform spanning from about 4 feet out into the lake all the way to his sinking point -- If you can picture a ski excercise machine -- the mechanism of the track part on the base of the machine -- visualize that in a clear structure anchored from the stepping point all the way out to the sinking point -- His feet are suctioning on the platform -- as he moves his feet forward the track mechanism shifts when he does -- stabilizing him during the currents, jet skis, helicopter, etc. If you practiced magic and had a multi-million dollar budget, you too could build these amazing illusions and freak people out.  REMEMBER IT'S JUST A TRICK AND IT'S JUST ENTERTAINMENT -- CRISS ANGEL IS A GREAT MARKETER AND ARTIST -- MINDFREAK!!

For verification of this illusion, just contact the managment of Lake Mead - if they're not under a legal agreement with Criss Angel and A/E network - they can provide you with some details of when the Mindfreak staff came out to set up everything before the filming--------
