England began their 2009 Six Nations campaign with a bang – albeit against underdogs Italy at Twickenham. However, they slipped up in their second match to Wales. However, two quite brilliant wins against France and Scotland earned Martin Johnson’s side a creditable second place finish at last year’s championships.
