  1. Yeah, I know what you mean.

    It's just an allegory.

  2. God has a desk lamp.

  3. Try reading a plant biology book.   They explain things with empirical evidence and repeatable study.  So if you don't believe it...you can test it yourself.

  4. How did Jesus walk on water?

It's a divine miracle, and you're expecting it to coincide with the laws of nature?

  5. no the second thing that God created was light.

Genesis 1 In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. 2 And the earth was waste and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep: and the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. 3 And God said, Let there be light: and there was light. 4 And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness

    and then in verse 11

11 And God said, Let the earth put forth grass, herbs yielding seed,andfruit-trees bearing fruit after their kind, wherein is the seed thereof, upon the earth: and it was so. 12 And the earth brought forth grass, herbs yielding seed after their kind, and trees bearing fruit, wherein is the seed thereof, after their kind: and God saw that it was good.

So you got your scripure wrong. The Earth was made first without plants just dirt. Then light was made, then Plants

  6. They only had to survive one day. The sun was made the very next day.

  7. He has the power to do anything

  8. If you believe in God you believe that with God all things are possible.  If you don't believe in Him your question is pointless and stupid.

  9. Try reading the Bible and not cliff notes.

  10. They didn't, because Genesis is simply an ancient Jewish myth.  It never happened.

  11. I don't personally believe in the Garden of Eden and that God created Man. It may be blasphemy, but I am a stout believer in evolution. I do believe to keep the sabbath day holy, and most of the bible's teachings, but I do eliminate what I think has to be false. Like in the book of Ezekiel, where the Lord appears to him upon a chariot composed of 4 living creatures each having 4 faces and calf's feet. What was Ezekiel smokin'?

  12. He didn't.  The first thing God says in the Bible is, "Let there be light."  Before electricity, the only light was the Sun.  When the Bible was written, people did not know that the Sun was a star.
