How did Japan become an exonomic superpower after WWII?

  2. all the  factories  were  bombed  out so  they  started  with  new  technology  wich surpassed americans  for  productivity.

    americans  were untouched  for the  most part  and  so  were  still in  prewar technology

  3. Some factors that come to mind are;

    Stability imposed by the U.S. occupation.

    An intelligent race.

    A people culturally attuned to service to a good cause, as they saw it.

    Determination to win national prestige by means other than military.

    As a U.S. patron in a "Cold War" era, the U.S. was anxious that the country should thrive along with West Germany as an antidote to Communism.

    The pre-war superpowers, having fought long and hard to win the war, tended to take a well-deserved break.  The Japanese just wanted to get back to fighting by other means as soon as they could. And they did.
