How did John Kerry lose in 2004?

I still do not understand how he lost. I mean he is extremely intelligent and inspiring.. what happened?

also, the debates tore him up. he sounded like fantasy island "the plan! the plan!"  everyone kept saying okay! what's the plan? and he said it's a SECRET PLAN I WILL REVEAL AT THE CORRECT TIME.

it was like Fantasy Island meets Get Smart.  funny stuff.

I'm not sure but I can tell you a couple things.  He served this country in vietnam and that didn't make one bit of a difference.  Apparently for John McCan't, he's an American hero to all the reps because he served this country.

While it's true that The Moron from Massachusetts has (barely) above average intelligence, it's certainly nothing to write home about.

As for "inspiring" -- well, I suppose his wife is inspired by him but I guarantee you that's about it.

Kerry lost in 1973 when he riddled his own comrades with lies before a senate sub committee. He lost again when he "couldn't remember" if he threw his medals away during a war protest in Washington.
