  1. Get your facts right, he graduated 894 out of 899. So if you want to insult people at least do it right. He finished low, but he was a fighter who was nicknamed McNasty.

  2. You know most people here are Republicans, take this to politics are something where most of the Anti-Americans are.

He finish 5th from last, so what? I would be hella happy if I even get into Annapolis.

You know Annapolis only accept 100 cadets a year?

And about 20,000 applied every year, that's like 0.5% acception chance.

You know about 23,000 people applied for Harvard, and they accept 9-10% of them every year.

  3. above guy comparing harvard and annapolis is wrong. there is only one class in annapolis while harvard is a university. of course harvard would accept that much applicants. i see your point but you should have compared maybe harvard law or harvard medicine.

  4. olpi65, once again you find it necessary to post questions that show what kind of human being you are. Congratulations.

  5. Hmmmm.  Dwight Eisenhower finished last in his class.  And, John McCain performed perfectly well as a POW and returned with honor.  I think that you aren't worthy to tie his shoes.

  6. Hmmmmmm......"You know Annapolis only accept 100 cadets a year?"....and yet somehow they manage to have graduating classes that number 899.  I see now why we get so many dumbass Republicans elected - to the mathematically challenged fascists here they must look like geniuses.

EDIT:  Despite Jonny's representations below, Eisenhower finished in the upper half of the "class the stars fell on", the class of 1915 at West Point.  Custer finished last in his class, as did George Pickett.

  7. There are about 4000 midshipmen, not cadets, at the US Naval Academy which is located at Annapolis, MD. If they are graduating close to 1000 then I would guess they are accepting about 1000 a year.

I have been to the Naval Academy and it is really impressive. The mess hall is large enough to have all 4000 midshipmen eat at the same time. Which they are required to do for the mid day meal during the week. They muster in formation in front of the building and march in together through three doors. Really impressive. Breakfast and dinner they can eat or not, it is up to them.

  8. He had a local pub to support.

He should have bought stock in Big Chief.

    He was an Admirals son.

    Gasoline was cheap.

    Nearest moonshiner didn't deliver.

To many samples of the local talent.

    He didn't crib notes.

Have you ever given thought to just how tough it is to say you Graduated the Navy Academy.

  9. Unlike other schools, demerits were used for infractions. He liked to push the limits of authority and apparently didn't back away from a fight. Who knows where he would have been in his class if he had been a conformist. Unlike other colleges being a legacy(father and grandfather were admirals) in the military means people like to s***w with you even more. In the end he was smart enough to pass the test for naval aviator. Those are more sought after than nat'l guard (gwb) or usaf. Not sure where USMC or army and USCG fit in on the echelon.

  10. Must have been since he was number 894 out of a class of 899. Did someone give him credit, was there a misprint or did he say 7th from the bottom.?

  11. he cheated.

  12. do your parents know your on the computer?
