How did Lauren & Audrina meet??

Does anyone know how Lauren & Audrina off of The Hills meet? I heard a rumor that Audrina was placed on the show by producers. Was Audrina on Laguna Beach? Thanks guys!!

The way I heard it, producers approached Audrina because they liked her look, and introduced the two of them.

no, she was not at Laguna Beach. When Lauren moved to LA with Heidi, heidi introduced them. She was Heidi's friend first.

The people who are saying that Audrina met Lauren through Heidi are just feeding into what they're told by the show. In reality, according to Audrina, she was at a pool near where they were shooting and they liked her look so they interviewed (or auditioned) her to be a friend to Lauren and Heidi. The Hills is not actual reality, but it's an entertaining show.

Audrina was not on Laguna Beach.  She and Lauren met when they were working together at some point.

No she wasn't on Laguna Beach. You're right. The producers did put her on the show to be Lauren's friend. She said so herself on her blog. And that's where they met.

Audrina was sitting at a pool and the producers asked her if she wanted to be a part of the show...and viola she became friends with heidi who then introduced her to lauren and they became friends
