  1. Archangel Gabriell.

  2. Allah sent Jebreel, the angel, to prophet mohammed (pbup) to deliver god's message, the quran.   the angel appeared in different forms when he came up to prophet mohammed.

  3. it is too deep for you....

  4. The angel Jibraeel (Gabriel) came to him.

  5. allah raised prophet mohammed , u know like the way he raised prophet Abraham..

prophet muhammed was not affected by the pagan beliefs of his ppl , he was raised purely and he was always thinking of the god of universe , so yes he was meditating in a cave called ( ghar heraa) and one day ( on ramadan month) allah sent his great angel ( Gabriel) to deliver the message to the great prophet and when he appeared to the prophet , he became so scared and afraid , so surprised , i mean u can just imagine these things , it's amazing and frightening also , so the 1st word Gabriel said to muhammed is ( read ) and prophet muhammed replied (i cant ), then Gabriel asked him 3 times to read and prophet muhammed replied that he cant ( cuz he was illiterate )

and then gabriel told him ( read in the name of ur highest god & who created everything ) and to the rest of the surah , and then prophet muhammed ran to his lovely great wife (khadeega) and told her what happened and she just believed him and become the 1st person to believe , i mean she was the greatest woman , and she was so generous and stood by the prophet tell her last breath.. and that what happened ..

if u want more details , let me know..

    glad that u r interested

always love & peace brought by islam..

  6. Muhammad was in the mount Hira when he first recieved his revelation, Angel Gibrael came down and spoke to Muhammed and told him that he hs been given a message by Allah, the angel told Muhammed to recite, but Muhammed sai he cannot, he is illeterate, the angel said recite again, but Muhammed again said he cannot, and on the 3rd time that the angel said recite (Iqra) Muhammed did. And he recited the first part of the Quran. The frst part of the Quran had been revealed to him, He was a little scared, he went home and told his friend Katijah what had happened, she told him that he should spread the word and that he had been chosen etc. (she became the first muslim convert soon after and married MUhammed to support him through).

He recieved the rest during meditation, he would meditate and was revealed parts of the Quran until he had recieved the whole of the Quran.

  7. an angel come up too him

  8. You should attend islamic class, they teach you all this stuff, don't they? It's important for muslims to know their prophets/messengers (P.B.U.T) and religion.

  9. (sigh) he didn't...nothing like that ever happened.. (i'm methodist)

  10. The Prophet Muhammad (SAWS) was meditating in the cave of Hira by himself, when the angel Gibreel descended to him and told him to "recite" or 'Iqraa" the words of God, even though the Prophet Muhammad (SAWS) was illiterate at the time, one of the greatest miracles was that Allah (SWT) gave him the ability to recite.

So the first words from our Creator was "Iqra" or "recite" which shows how important knowledge and education and academia is in islam, so it makes me mad when people say Islam is backwards, when the first commandmant of Allah (SWT) was to read!!!!

  11. I agree with Fereshta!!

It also makes me mad when people say that islam is backward!!! Islam is the only religion on the face of this planet to lay such an emphasis on education....

Check this documentary: Islam- Empire of faith.

It is one of the most OUTSTANDING documentaries I've ever seen on islam. Download it, and enjoy it with your family....
