Either foreign born- American Muslims or American-born Muslims Some were made to believe that they rejoiced, others say they didn't. It was also believed that, they not only attacked America, but also attacked the dominant religion in America, Christianity. So how did they react?

  1. only small majority were happy.

  2. i wasn't a Muslim then, but i know for a fact that the Muslim community has condemned the terrorist acts on thousands of occasions and FYI many Muslims died on 9/11 as well.

  3. Back then: ..sad.

Now: They deserve it. And they deserve 10x worse.

@Pab, Hmm..What about the MILLIONS of innocent Iraqis & Afghans that are constantly getting killed?

  4. I was 11 also when 9/11 happened and at the time I didn't really know why they did it, and I still don't know why they did it but I felt good because the Americans have been disbelievers of our religion and the Qur'an says to kill any disbelievers.

The thing was that, they killed people who may or may not have been disbelievers and that was pretty wrong. But the people who hijacked the airplanes felt they were pleasing Allah by dying as martyrs in his cause-which is defined as Jihad.

But Allah knows more than we and He has made that day come for a reason whether we know why or not. We should just take it as one of His many warning Signs and heed to His Words; For He knows what we know not.

  5. SAD and Angry

    inshallah things will change

  6. well when 9/11 happened i was in 2nd grade so yea

but even as a 2nd grader is was like SHOCKED!

just because i was a young muslim doesnt mean anything i reacted the same as everyone!

  7. I was very shocked to see what happened, and then on top of that to see it was Muslims. I've never seen Islam in a violent way and so i was schocked to see that there are extremists like that. I was upset to see that anyone could even do that, no matter what religion they were, they killed many and of course i had the same reaction as anoyone else, sad. I was worried, i expected to get some reall harsh remarks by people from college and that.

Now, i've seen Dvd's that prove 9/11 was a set up. I feel annoyed that Muslims are blamed and more annoyed that everyone is attacking Islam all of the time. they judge us all. I know there are some extremist's out there but it's a minotity and i feel let down by them for giving Islam a bad name not just themselves.

  8. I was extremely sad, like everyone else. I remember, I was in the 6th grade, and this one stupid kid made fun of me for being muslim for the first time. I was a kid, so I made fun of him back of course, and forgot about it, but now, I am especially sad about how the views on muslims have changed. If it didn't happen, so many more people would be alive, all around the world, and Islam might not have been given such a horrible view. I hate that people's interpretation of the Islamic way of life is molded primarly by the actions of people who should never be called muslims.

  9. Pakistanis in US were full of swagger and boast, One of our acquaintance standing in a mall with other bunch of Pakistanis were wearing broad grins. One of them loudly remarked "Dekhana,(see?) when we do it, we do it right"

Even when US was getting ready go to Afghanistan to chop their balls off, there were massive demos in Pakiland screaming for US blood and promising Americans lots of body bags.

It was only after they started  getting the back lash and got whipped in Afghanistan that the peace makers came out of the wood works.

This has been their style through out history. peace makers are silent till they begin to loose and surface later accusing Non Muslims of giving Islam a bad name.

May u shower me with Thumbs down, but that is what happened.

  10. Dear Derek,

I am a muslim, and in 2001, I was only 11 years old! Back then, I believed that Ben laden was behind the attacks. Howver, as from 2005 during my research on religions and secret socities I came across several hundreds evidaence that pointed out to one thing: The muslims were certainly not behind the attacks! I think you will find it hard toi believe me! I know it! But PLZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ do take some time and do some research by yourself. You will find good vids from YouTube itself. Also refer to that answer that I posted:

I'm pretty sure that if you did a good and unbiased research, you will certainly come to the same conclusion. By the way, try to see that documentary called Loose Change. most of the docs can be found on youtube...

Thumbs up for SAADIA and SPIDERMAN...Thnx for sharing the truth.....the day will come when the truth will emerge.....Each year, sevearl hundreds of americans protest as they know that the 9/11 was staged by the USA itself....The numbers are growing!

    EDIT:

A HUMBLE AND URGENT APPEAL TO ALL MY MUSLIM BROTHERS AND SISTERS:

PLEASE STOP SAYING THAT THE QURAN IS AGAINST 9/11, WE MUSLIMS COMDEMN 9/11 ETC ETC ETC….BECAUSE MUSLIMS ARE NOT BEHIND 9/11. BY SAYING THAT, YOU ARE ACKNOWLEDGING THAT IT WAS SOME MUSLIMS THAT DID IT! AND THAT IS COMPLETELY FALSE!!!

PLEASE DO TAKE THE TIME TO VIEW THE LINKS I POSTED, AND THEN MAKE UP YOUR MIND IF IT WQAS REALLY THE MUSLIMS WHO WERE BEHIND 9/11. IT WAS THE SAME TRICK THAT BUSH USED TO ATTACK IRAQ- LYING!!

READ ABOUT THE NWO, BILDERBERG, TRILATERAL COMMISION, COUNCIL ON FORIGN RELATIONS, SKULL AND BONES, FREEMASONRY, AND AFTER THAT YOU WILL CERTAINLY UNDERSTAND THAT MUSLIMS WERE NOT BEHIND THE 9/11. IT WAS AN “INSIDE JOB”!!

  11. they were thrilled,

  12. Well I'm a British Pakistani Muslim and when it happened, I was in Pakistan with my family and I remember being pissed off 'cos the electricity had gone and we were dying in the heat, and we didn't even know what was happening in the "outside world" until big sis got a call from a mate (who had electricity!) who told her what happened, but getting electricity back seemed more important to me back then than the twin towers. Looking back at it now, I feel it was wrong 'cos innocent people died. But that's all the opinions I have on it. I don't have any views or opinions on who was right/who was wrong 'cos everyone chats a load of S***e and you can't trust anyone especially Bushy Bush and Hairy Blair, now it's S****y Brown in control, well he thinks he is.

  13. Many new stories clearly show that the great majority of the Muslim world (in particular the Palis) was jubilant.

"Now, i've seen Dvd's that prove 9/11 was a set up."

Wow, that's some pretty lame justification for not feeling guilty on behalf of your fellow Muslims who did those horrific acts.

  14. let me ask u a qus how do u react when u hear that alot of muslims die in iraq, palestine & pakistani ? u tell me

  15. When 9/11 happened, I was 11 and I didn't usually watch the news. When I saw 9/11 happen, I didn't really feel that bad because I just thought it was one of many bad things that happen in the news.

Now, looking back, I feel it was bad and it shouldn't have happened.

  16. I became angry. With the actions they took in one day, they changed the way an entire race of people were regarded. When those planes hit the twin towers, I cried with everyone else. When our Mosques were bombed by angry Americans in their own country i was crying again. I tried to educate the ignorant people who called all muslims terrorists. I explained to one family in the waiting room of my daughter's pediatrician how ridiculous their logic was in calling all muslims terrorists for the hateful acts of a handful of people who claimed they practiced the religion. I asked if they thought all Christians were baby murderers. They of course said no. Then I asked why not when David Koresh was calling himself Christian when he took the lives of all those children in Mt. Carmel in 1993. Just saying you are Muslim does not make you one. You must practice all parts of it including forgiveness to actually be Muslim. Two weeks after 9/11, one of my friends was crossing a busy street with her baby when an ignorant redneck actually sped up to try to run them over. Fortunately she managed to push the stroller up onto the median before the baby  was harmed, but my friend broke an ankle in the incident! For the most part Muslims reacted in the same way as any american did. Those who rejoiced can not really be called true Muslims, because they just pick and choose the parts of the Quaraan that best suited their hateful sick attitudes and ideals!

  17. American muslims were as hurt by it as the rest of us, foreign muslims mostly just followed whetever their country believes of us...if the country is friendly, it was sad, if it was a hostile country, then they rejoiced.  The fact that they were muslims had nothing to do with it, really.

The attacks were an attack on America.  Nothing more, nothing less.  There was no attack on christianity.

    Confused....

You think 3000 innocent deserved to die?  That 30,000 now deserve to die?  I thought Canadians were supposed to be peaceful...

What about the war?  I was against it from the very beginning, as were most Americans.  Either way, even in war I hope the innocent don't get caught up in the cross fire.

But we're not the only one's doing the killing.  They were killing each other long before we got there.

I'm not justifying anything, but how quick you all are to point out this war that none of us even wanted.

  18. I was devestated then....and I'm devestated by it now.  May Allah bring peace to the world soon, insha'allah.

    @ Sami - Word

love for all, hatred for none

  19. rejoiced????

    you gotta be kidding me.

any one of us or our loved ones could have been a victim over there.

  20. Some did celebrate, but that was mostly done in other countries.  Most of the Muslims in America who are intelligent enough not to blame everyone for the decisions made by our govt. officials and our president, were just as shocked as the rest of us were.  To me what was so sickening was the way Muslims in America were treated after the attack.  They were beaten, their mosques were vandalized, Muslims were not safe to leave their homes.  What does that say about the ignorant people we have living in this country.

Edit:  Confused:  What an idiotic, moronic thing to say. What the h**l have Americans done to anyone.  We are not responsible for the decisions people in our govt. or our president makes.  Shame on you, may God influence you to act and believe more humanely.

  21. i wouldn't rejoice at the killing of so many ppl, there's nothing exciting about it, i was in 4th grade during Sept. 11th, and i was VERY shocked and scared :(

  22. My initial reaction was shock and then disappointment.  I couldn't believe the terrorists claimed they attacked in the name of Islam, when this peaceful religion condemns violence.

  23. I flipped the channel and continued on with my day.

  24. when i first saw it on the news minutes after it happened, my first thought wasnt "oh no, some muslims did it". i felt horrible for all the ppl that died and had to go thru that traumatic experience. i dont have anything to do with the so-called "muslims" that killed so many innocent people. i hate it when non muslims pull that theyre tired of muslims saying the terrorists are non muslims. its true! killing and suicide are huge sins and are clearly sins in the quran!
